About us

AFI is a growing field innovation company in Gällivare that consists of a team of innovators, inventors, geeks and McGyvers who weld together technologies from different sectors for our customers in heavy industry. How we work

With rope access, we always work in teams where we primarily look after each other and work efficiently (safety = efficiency) but are also challenged and have a lot of fun. We work together with some major mining companies and several partners where we solve various problems. You will learn most things from the ground up on the job from our experienced instructors and rope access technicians. The most important thing to solve the tasks in the best way and reach our common goals, is that you are responsive and humble, communicate clearly and are eager to learn. Safety always comes first!

Rope access work (inspection, mechanic work, 3D scanning) is the biggest part of the work, but 3D scanning and drone flying can also be included. Some computer work is added, but to a limited extent (e.g. reporting, meetings, start uploading data from the field). Care of equipment and generally keeping an eye on the office is also included.

What we offer

You will work for an employer who strives for a good working environment and company culture in all aspects. You will have the opportunity to learn a variety of different industry skills with the opportunity for training both internally and externally based on need. There will also be plenty of opportunities to develop and learn a lot about technology such as 3D scanning, drones, computers, etc.

The position is full-time with location in Gällivare, with the possibility of flexible schedules as agreed.
