Do you want to be part of a team that works with advanced aerospace technology and contributes to Sweden's defense capability? At our customer GKN Aerospace, you will have the opportunity to work with world-leading engine technology and help shape the aircraft systems of the future.
The Engine Modules department is responsible for technical product support on the Fan, Compressor, Combustion Chamber, Low and High Pressure Turbine and Afterburner modules. It performs analysis and investigations of engine component hardware and function. The department has a leading role in developing and improving the modules with regard to, for example, service life, cost and function.
The team currently consists of 21 employees, but needs to grow due to the company's increased investments in RM12 and future challenges. The department has deep knowledge and experience in engine knowledge. With us you have the opportunity to learn more about aircraft engines.
As part of our customer's team, there will be assignments both around certified engines and next generation aircraft engines.
Typical tasks
- Plan, drive and carry out technical investigations at module level from start to finish.
- Root cause investigations of damage and its impact on the engine system.
- Update and justify design data such as drawings and manuals.
- Define qualification requirements of components for production start-up, production change and repair development.
- Perform maintenance and repair activities.
Qualifications
- University engineer (B.Sc.) in relevant technical field, or documented equivalent knowledge gained through experience.
- Good technical competence in relevant field.
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Meritorious
- Education at Master level (M.Sc.) in relevant technical field
- Experience of full or partial systems of engines.
- Industrial experience of product development or product support
. - Experience of product development/support in the aerospace industry, or other safety and quality critical industry.
- Knowledge of drawing reading and form/mode.
