Job Description

Do you want to help companies ensure that their products meet requirements and can be brought to market worldwide?

We are now looking for a Product Compliance Consultant who wants to work closely with our clients on product regulations, product safety, and regulatory interpretation. In this role, you’ll help organizations understand what regulations mean in practice—and how they should be applied in product development and launch.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Work with product regulations, product safety, and requirements interpretation
  • Interpret and translate standards, directives, and legal requirements into practical guidance
  • Support development teams on issues related to regulations in technology, safety, and sustainability
  • Work with CE marking and product approval for market access
  • Monitor regulatory developments and their implications for future products
  • Create and maintain quality management systems

Who are we?

Our Compliance & Quality Management (CQM) department consists of approximately 20 employees in Stockholm, Uppsala, Malmö, and Gothenburg. Our team—which ranges from recent graduates to senior professionals—brings a broad range of expertise in quality, product compliance, and business development. We work with products throughout their entire lifecycle, as well as with processes across the company’s entire organization in various industries and organizations.

Qualifications

We would like you to have:

  • Relevant college degree in engineering, environmental studies, or a related field
  • At least 3–5 years of experience working with product regulations, preferably in the manufacturing industry or as a consultant
  • Good knowledge of one or more of the following regulations: the Battery Regulation, the Machinery Directive/Regulation, the Product Safety Regulation, REACH, RoHS, the Low Voltage Directive (LVD), EMC, Radio Equipment Directive (RED), Pressure Equipment Directive, Medical Devices (MDR/IVDR, ISO 13485, QMSR)
  • Ability to interpret and apply EU legislation in practice
  • Fluent in spoken and written Swedish and English

It is not a requirement that you have worked in all of the areas listed above—what is more important is that you have experience working with product regulations and are accustomed to familiarizing yourself with new standards, directives, and legal requirements.

Our consulting team is characterized by collaboration, openness, and professionalism, and we are driven by creating added value for our clients. In addition to consulting services, our business unit also offers our clients packaged solutions and products.

We offer a forward-thinking work environment and security in the form of collective bargaining agreements and employee benefits for all our employees. Our employee club organizes social activities both in and outside the office. Everything from ski trips and choir singing to playing board games—there’s something for everyone.
