AFRY's Business Unit Advanced Manufacturing has in recent years successfully delivered several large turnkey projects and possesses the expertise needed for technology-intensive automation projects; from mechanical and electrical design to PLC and Robot programming.

With us, you get the opportunity to be involved in the work of automation, we have an exciting time ahead of us and are now looking for you who are "Automation engineer" for our projects in machine and robot integration.

As an Automation Engineer with us, you will be part of a project team whose task is to realize the customer projects and commitments we are entrusted to carry out. You will be an important part of program development as well as commissioning and commissioning of the production facilities we build ourselves. In addition to working with program development, the role also includes leading, directing and coaching colleagues in the electrical/automation area. In most cases, programming takes place in Siemens systems, but other systems also occur.

In the role, you will also be involved in an early stage of the procurement work towards both customers and subcontractors. You will also be involved in our project commitments, from concept to calculation, quotation and procurement, further with project management during implementation and regarding training and documentation. All based on functional and operating descriptions, electrical design, and PLC and robot programming.

You have a genuine interest in technology and like to take on new assignments with both drive and commitment. You value an outward-looking job where you get to build relationships and feel responsible for your tasks. In addition to this, you are interested in developing and strengthening our position as a leading technology consultant in the market!

To succeed well and thrive in the role, we are looking for you who have:

• Experience in PLC programming of industrial automation systems for the manufacturing industry, preferably also electrical design.
• Experience in driving and developing programming methodology and coaching colleagues in PLC programming.
• Appropriate technical education and a great interest in technology and development as most of what we do is customized.
• Have a driving license B as traveling in periods can be a natural part of your role.
• Master both Swedish and English well in both speech and writing.
