Job description

We work with technology-intensive automation projects for some of the market's largest players, both in-house and at customer sites. Our assignments are mainly in industry, infrastructure and energy.

The section consists of about twenty colleagues with different skills in mechanics, automation and machine safety. We are part of Advanced Automation and value collaboration, learning and job satisfaction - we develop and perform best as a team. As an automation engineer with a focus on delivery projects, you are involved in the entire chain - from feasibility studies and requirements definition to programming, testing, commissioning and after-sales. You will work with PLC, HMI and SCADA systems, and actively contribute to system design, functional descriptions and technical documentation. The role involves both independent work and close collaboration with colleagues and customers.

You are based in our office in Borlänge, but are also out in the field during investigations and commissioning.

Qualifications

We believe that you are a person who likes to work with technology and likes problem solving. You are forward-thinking in your approach and good at building relationships with others.

We also value your planning skills, your collaboration and communication skills, and your initiative. To succeed well and thrive in the role, we also believe that you have: 

• A relevant technical education at secondary or higher education level, or have acquired equivalent knowledge in another way
• A few years of experience in automation and delivery projects in industry
• You are used to working in all phases of projects and taking responsibility for your area
• Good knowledge of programming PLC, DCS, HMI;
  for example DCS systems, such as. Siemens PCS7, Siemens Neo and ABB 800XA.  
• B-driving license as there is travel in the service
• Fluent language skills in Swedish and English
