Job description
As an Automation Engineer with a focus on Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, you will be a key member of our automation and production team. You will be responsible for developing PLC-based control systems in a modern, GMP-regulated production environment within Life Science. Travel may be required.
Qualifications
Your tasks
- Develop and improve graphical interfaces (HMI/SCADA).
- Implement and modify PLC functions.
- Work with technical platforms with a focus on Allen-Bradley/Rockwell in different generations.
- Ensure that all automation solutions meet GMP, GAMP 5 and other regulatory requirements.
Examples of systems and equipment
- Communication solutions: EtherNet/IP, Profibus, Profinet, Modbus.
- Safety PLC and machine safety systems.
- Process equipment for pharmaceutical manufacturing (e.g. reactors and filling lines).
We are looking for you who have:
- A minimum of 3 years of documented experience with Allen-Bradley PLC systems and DCS - Studio 5000.
- Experience in life science, pharmaceutical industry, food, energy or other regulated industry.
- Good knowledge of industrial communication protocols and networks.
- Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both in speech and writing.
Advantageous:
- Technical education at college/university level in automation, electrical engineering, mechatronics or equivalent experience.
- Experience in integration between PLC and SCADA/DCS/MES.
- Advanced troubleshooting and optimization of control systems.
