Job description

At AFRY Advanced Automation in Stockholm we continue to grow - and now we want to strengthen the team with more dedicated automation engineers who are passionate about technology and smart solutions. With us, you get to work in technology-intensive projects where we help some of Sweden's most exciting businesses to take the step into the future of industrial automation.

Your role - where technology, creativity and problem solving meet  As an automation engineer, you will play a central role in our projects, from the first idea to the final commissioning. Here you get close to both technology and customer - and get to be involved in creating solutions that really make a difference. 

You will among other things work with: 

• Programming in PLC, SCADA and DCS 
• Methodical troubleshooting and advanced problem solving 
• Documentation and quality assurance throughout the project 
• Technical consulting and close dialog with our customers 

The assignments vary in both size and complexity - from minor upgrades to building completely new factories or plants. That means a lot of variety, a lot of responsibility and lots of opportunities to develop.

Qualifications

Since you will be working on finding solutions to advanced challenges, we are looking for you who love to think creatively and solve problems. You thrive in collaboration with others, create engagement and build strong relationships - while taking responsibility and driving the work forward. We also see that you have a desire to develop and contribute to the success of both your colleagues and our customers.

• Relevant education in the field or equivalent work experience.  
• Many years of experience as an automation engineer and good knowledge of working in ABB's software, ABB 800xA. If you have also worked with older ABB products AC450 and MP200 and with system assignments, this is a merit but not a requirement. 
• B-driving license as travel in the service occurs.  
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both in speech and writing.
