Job Description

Would you like to help shape the automotive solutions of the future? We are currently seeking test engineers specializing in test automation, with varying levels of experience, for exciting assignments in the automotive sector in Gothenburg.

In this role, you’ll work in cross-functional teams closely tied to both development and testing, with a focus on functionality, stability, and quality. You’ll collaborate with developers and other test engineers to ensure high-quality software for embedded systems.

The work may include both hands-on testing and test automation, where you’ll contribute to robust and reliable solutions throughout the entire development cycle. Here, you’ll have a great opportunity to grow in test automation as part of a team with extensive experience in the field.

Job Responsibilities

The focus is on test automation in HIL and/or SIL environments, where you will develop and run tests, but you will also:

• Write and update test cases
• Maintain automated tests
• Analyze results and troubleshoot

Qualifications

To thrive and succeed in this role, we believe you bring the following: 

• At least 2 years of experience in test automation within the automotive industry
• Strong programming skills in Python, C#, and/or CAPL
• Experience with Vector (CANoe, CANalyzer) and/or dSPACE
• A Swedish or European Class B driver’s license

Desirable

• Knowledge of test frameworks
• Experience with Simulink

You thrive in a consulting role and are motivated by the opportunity to contribute your technical expertise and strong problem-solving skills in complex and safety-critical environments.

For this position, fluency in both spoken and written Swedish and English is required, as our assignments often involve contact with Swedish clients. Some assignments may also be security-classified, which means you will undergo a security clearance process in accordance with the Security Protection Act.
