We are now looking for a Construction Environment Coordinator (Bas-P).

With us, you will be part of a strong team that works widely in community development throughout the country. We work to create attractive and sustainable cities and communities. Our clients are municipalities, regions and government agencies as well as private actors.

You will work in assignments together with your colleagues mainly in road and railroad assignments. The assignments can vary in scope and be in the early stages of the planning process as well as in the later stages such as construction documents to the finished facility.

You will be responsible for coordinating work environment issues in the design phase. The assignment involves, among other things, identifying risks early, drawing up work environment plans and ensuring coordination between project developers.

In the role of Base-P, your primary task is to assist with your work environment expertise and thus maintain compliance with work environment rules, already from an early stage in the project. You coordinate the work environment work in the planning and design phase together with designers and constructors, to prevent the system and construction document delivered from causing risks in the construction phase.

The focus of the role is to ensure that the work environment is taken into account in the solutions that the designers develop, it is therefore common for you to give instructions that they should follow. You will work closely with the design management and participate in design meetings to be given the opportunity to influence the work environment issue.

Qualifications

We believe that you as an applicant have completed a work environment training for Bas-P according to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's guidelines that are a maximum of five years old. You have at least three years of work experience in a role as Base-P or supervising Base-P in road/railway projects. You have experience of having drawn up a work environment plan. To be successful in the role, it is important that you enjoy coordinating and collaborating in a team, as you have continuous dialog with different actors in the project and the client.

You support other consultants and sub-consultants and ensure that our deliveries meet the customer's requirements and technical standards.

In your role, you work closely with the client, other technical areas and various stakeholders to create integrated and sustainable solutions that meet the needs of the projects.

We also see that you have good knowledge of the laws, standards and technical guidelines that govern the industry, and that you can ensure that our projects comply with applicable regulations and maintain high technical quality.

To succeed in the role, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish and English both in speech and writing. AFRY is an international company, and you are expected to work in an international environment where English is part of everyday life.
