Job description

In the Bridge and Civil Engineering business area, we are about 100 employees who work to plan, design and maintain the bridges and facilities of the future. We are now looking for an experienced bridge designer who wants to be part of our continued development in the Central region.

You have a flexible location and can work from our offices in Karlstad, Örebro, Västerås, Uppsala, Norrköping, Linköping or Jönköping.

As a bridge designer, you will have a central role in analyzing, designing and following up various bridge and civil engineering projects. Our assignments range from major government initiatives to smaller municipal projects. The work involves close collaboration with colleagues in several disciplines, contractors and authorities - both in Sweden and internationally.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree with a specialization in construction or equivalent
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in bridge and construction assignments
• Good knowledge of the Swedish Transport Administration's regulations and used to preparing and reviewing documents
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
• A detail-oriented approach and focus on quality and safety
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English

Experience in both new construction and bridge repairs is meritorious.
