Job Description
The best Construction Managers don’t just build facilities. They build the industry of the future.
At AFRY, we drive some of Sweden’s most complex and technically advanced industrial investments in the chemical, refining, pulp & paper, and energy transition sectors.
We are now looking for a Senior Construction Manager who wants to lead the execution of our projects on-site and be involved from the early project phases through to the completed facility.
The primary location is Gothenburg, but for the right candidate, other locations in Sweden may be possible.
About the Role
You will be a key member of the project management team, responsible for translating plans and designs into safe, efficient, and successful execution. You will lead site teams, contractors, and suppliers with safety as the top priority and play a crucial role in the project’s outcome.
Qualifications
We believe you
- Have experience as a Construction Manager, Site Manager, or Construction Manager in large-scale industrial projects
- Have participated in several multidisciplinary projects in the process industry, preferably as part of EPCM execution.
- Are a strong leader who builds safe and high-performing teams
- Have a good understanding of constructability, assembly, and construction management
- Enjoy taking responsibility and making decisions close to production
- Are willing to work on-site and travel within Sweden
- Hold a Class B driver’s license
Knowledge of Swedish is a plus.
