Job description

We are now looking for a Business Controller who wants to help drive AFRY's journey towards stronger financial governance and data-driven decisions. Do you have experience in developing reporting structures and driving change in a dynamic environment? Then this could be your next challenge!

As Business Controller, you are responsible for the overall financial analysis and reporting of AFRY's Real Estate portfolio. The role entails working closely with the Head of Real Estate and helping to build the unit and its reporting structures, including enabling data-driven analysis and follow-up. You will have an important role in our projects to streamline and improve our cost efficiency linked to Real Estate.

The role includes further development of follow-up systems and collaboration models between accounting and controlling as well as being a driving and supporting link to AFRY's business controllers.

As Business Controller at AFRY, you will play a key role in establishing and developing global tools for analysis and follow-up of results. You will have an active role in processes such as Annual Target, Long term plan, rolling forecasts, development of BI systems incl reports within PowerBI. Furthermore, you will support the business by analyzing results, creating management reports and developing existing global reports for the business.

To succeed in this role, we believe you have a high strategic ability and experience working in a listed environment. You are analytical, thorough, solution-oriented and able to simplify complex structures to increase business value.

You have an experience of developing and leading financial processes in a group structure. We would like to see that you have worked with transformation of financial and operational data and are comfortable in driving the journey to increase the organization's data-driven capabilities. You also have the ability to visualize insightful data/analytics and streamline financial planning processes into data-driven automated predictions. Driving development and improvement work is part of our everyday life.

You thrive on working together in teams with competent and inspiring colleagues.

As the role involves a lot of collaboration and management of colleagues, your communication and relationship-building skills are crucial. In the role, you will have contact with different parts of the business and colleagues in over 50 countries, and you therefore need to have very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. You have a strong business interest, enjoy working in a dynamic environment and have the ability to create structure and clear follow-up routines for the business.
