Job description

Construction work environment issues are high on the agenda with the regulatory renewal that came into force on January 1, 2025. We therefore need to grow and become more work environment coordinators who are passionate about work environment issues in the process industry.

In the role of construction work environment coordinator, BAS-P, you will work together with several different technical areas to jointly deliver tomorrow's safe process industries.As a construction work environment coordinator with us, you work to:

• Coordinate those involved in the design so that they take into account each other's plans and solutions.
•  Ensures that planning, management and coordination of the design is done in the way needed to prevent risks of ill health and accidents during the construction and use phase.
•  Supports technical managers with risk and action work in assignments.
•  Be an ambassador for the work according to the basic principles of Chapter 8 of AFS 2023:3.
•  Be responsible for adapting routines and working methods to the unique size, complexity and risk level of each project.
•  Produce and develop checklists, aids and support materials to facilitate and streamline the work environment work in the project.

Our customers are mainly in the Process Industry, such as Bioindustry, Chemistry, Mining, Battery, Metal and Paper and Pulp. Locations can be Sundsvall, Örnsköldsvik, Umeå, Skellefteå, Piteå, Luleå and Kiruna. AFRY also has opportunities in other locations, so do not hesitate to contact us.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with relevant education and experience of working as a BAS-P, from the consulting, contracting or process industry. You work to develop both the project and your colleagues and are not afraid to challenge ingrained patterns of thinking. You are good at creating good relationships and being responsive to the client but also dare to question to secure the future work environment.

Furthermore, you are a very good communicator and have a genuine interest in the work environment and creating value for both AFRY and your client

For this role, we also see that you have very good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing.

It is meritorious if you have:

• 5 years of documented experience as a BAS-P.
• Experience from leading roles.
• Experience in the process industry
• Training in construction law

As travel occurs, you should have a B-driving license.
