Job description
As a Construction Manager, you will lead the technical work in the projects you are involved in within the engineering area. To be successful in this role, you will be available to the designers and project engineers working on your projects and will be involved in their daily work on the assignments. You are responsible for ensuring that the documents delivered meet all the requirements set and that they are of good quality. You are involved in all cross-technical issues related to the technical field of civil engineering and you provide continuous feedback and motivate the other members of the assignment. You review the documents before delivery to the client and have ownership of the documents delivered within the assignment. You also lead the technical dialog with the client's technical support in construction works.
The role of design manager does not include any administrative responsibility over schedule and budget, but is a role that focuses on the technology.
In addition to working as a design manager, you will also work as a designer in more technically complex assignments. This is to further develop your own technical skills.
You will also be a sounding board together with other senior employees in the section in issues of high complexity in other assignments than those where you are responsible for design.
Our employees are preferably located in Solna, but we also have employees in Poland, India and Luleå.
In the role you will be stationed in either Solna.
Qualifications
You have at least 10 years of experience as a construction engineer in the Swedish market.
You are well versed in current regulations and have the ability to build trust, both internally and externally.
You communicate well in both Swedish and English and appreciate supervising and further developing more junior employees.
