Job description

At AFRY Nuclear, we are proud to be one of the largest competence providers to the nuclear power industry in Sweden and the Nordic region. With long-term partnerships and strong trust from our customers, we are now facing an exciting future. We now want to strengthen our team in Uppsala with more technical consultants with a focus on assignments in instruments and automation systems.

In this role, you will work in assignments for customers in the nuclear industry with a focus on instruments and automation systems. You will mainly work with testing in e.g. replacement projects and maintenance of instrument equipment on, for example, reactor and turbine systems or automation systems. You work with preparations for auditing such as the development of test programs, and are then responsible for testing during auditing.

We also see that assignments with roles as analyst / investigator or project manager may be relevant, and that in the long run you can also act as a supervisor. Through this role, you will have great opportunities to develop as a technical consultant in various exciting assignments in a current and stable industry. The assignments are located at the customer's site, which in practical terms means that travel to Forsmark in particular is a natural part of the work. There is the possibility of remote work depending on the tasks and as a consultant at AFRY, travel compensation is received.

Qualifications

You are able to manage multiple interfaces and build good, long-term working relationships, both internally and externally. Since you may have parallel assignments and tasks, it is also important that you can plan and create structure in your everyday life, in order to manage your projects in the best way.

What knowledge and experience do you need?

• Post-secondary education in automation, electrical power, energy systems, electrical engineering or similar
• Previous practical experience from work in automation / electrical power and / or maintenance of control systems
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech as well as writing as protocol and report writing is an important part of the job;constitutes an important part of the work tasks

If you have experience from the nuclear power industry or other energy production, we see it as meritorious, and especially meritorious is if you have experience in CombiX.

As this position operates in security classified areas, you will undergo drug tests and security checks before employment can begin. For all recruitments at AFRY, an ID check, reference checks and verification of education are always carried out prior to employment.
