Job description

As a Technical Manager/Contract Manager in Bridges and Civil Engineering, you will lead the technical work and ensure that our deliveries meet contracts, requirements and the contract plan. You are responsible for the whole of your technical area and support the assignment manager in both technical and business issues.

The role includes:

• Leading the work in your technical area and ensuring that the right technical solutions are used in the assignments.
• Planning, leading and following up work tasks in terms of time, finance, quality, sustainability, work environment and risk.
• Preparing and quality assuring technical documents, such as investigations, inspections, calculations, drawings and AMA descriptions.
• Ensure that relevant requirements, laws and regulations in the bridge and construction area are followed.
• Apply AFRY's routines for quality control, verification and documentation.
• Coordinate technical solutions with other technical areas and with sub / side consultants.

You will also actively participate in customer meetings, contribute to market monitoring and develop customer relationships. Travel in the service occurs.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are confident in a technically leading role and who want to contribute to development, quality and business acumen in our assignments. You are responsive, unpretentious and happy to share your expertise to strengthen both teams and deliveries.

You have:

• Civil or university engineering degree in civil engineering or civil engineering, preferably with a focus on bridges.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience from bridge and construction projects.
• Good understanding of the Swedish Transport Administration's processes and regulations in bridge / road / rail, and preferably experience of municipal planning processes.
• Experience in leading technical teams and making technical decisions in project design.
• High business acumen and ability to create good relationships both internally and externally.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing.
