Job Description

As a Data Coordinator and Designer/Engineer at AFRY, you play a crucial role in maintaining high quality and a clear structure in our infrastructure projects, as well as in designing roads and land. You are responsible for ensuring that the project’s digital project management is efficient, well-organized, and in line with established requirements. By working closely with project management and technical leads, you play an active role in project coordination as well as quality and delivery assurance.&#In your role as a designer, you will shape the infrastructure of the future and contribute to the green transition, as well as to the development of Sweden’s resilience in the north for both private and public clients.

The role includes: 

  • Driving and implementing effective work processes to ensure that information management is consistent and structured throughout the project 
  • Supporting project management and the project team by providing guidance, training, and support in document and information management 
  • Coordinating and quality-assuring documents prior to delivery, and being responsible for delivering documents to the client’s project portal or document management system 
  • Participate in review sessions and support project management with review procedures to ensure high-quality information throughout the project 
  • Be responsible for liaising with the client’s specialist in digital project management 
  • Participate in various development activities to improve and streamline our work processes 

We are now looking for a driven data coordinator with some experience who wants to take an active role in our projects and ensure quality in both information management and deliverables!

This role will be based at our office in Piteå or Luleå

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with some prior experience in data coordination. You should have a good understanding of the design process and the various phases of our projects, such as road or rail planning, system documentation, construction documentation, turnkey contracting, and construction contracting. 

We are looking for someone who has: 

  • At least 2 years of experience in data coordination for civil engineering and infrastructure projects from a consulting, construction, or client perspective 
  • Previous experience with information and document management systems (e.g., ProjectWise and Chaos)
  • Experience with CAD software such asAutoCAD and Bentley MicroStation.
  • Good general computer skills

Desirable:

  • Experience with Swedish Transport Administration projects
  • Knowledge of design and BIM/model coordination in 3D tools
  • Skills in programming, scripting, and automation

We prefer that you have an academic degree or equivalent knowledge acquired through other means, as well as strong proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
