Job description

As a supervising designer, you work with design and static calculations in construction projects, from system document to construction document. You are responsible for developing and quality assuring load-bearing systems, calculation models and construction documents in close collaboration with the project manager.

The work involves both independent calculation work and coordination with the architect, installation and other disciplines. The role is suitable for those who want a clear technical focus and who can eventually develop towards assignment management responsibility.

The location for the role is Östersund or Örnsköldsvik.

Qualifications

For the role of supervising designer, we are looking for you who have good technical skills and experience of working with static calculations and design documents in construction projects. You are thorough, analytical and enjoy taking responsibility for your own work in close collaboration with the project manager.

The role requires:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a building designer
• Practical experience of static calculations and dimensioning
• Good knowledge of Eurocodes and BBR
• Experience of working in Revit and/or Tekla
• Good Swedish in speech and writing
• B driving license

You have a structured approach and work independently with calculations and documents, while contributing actively in coordination with the architect, installation and other disciplines. The role is suitable for those who want to deepen their technical skills and eventually take greater responsibility in the projects.

Advantageous is:

• Experience of projects in hospitals, defense or security
• Experience working with FEM programs, such as FEM-Design
• Experience in coordination and review of construction documents
