Job description

We are now looking for an Interior Designer for the automotive industry who wants to be involved in some of our most exciting projects - either at AFRY's office in Lindholmen or directly at our customers.

In the role, you will mainly work with CAD design of interior components, with a focus on injection molded plastic items. You are responsible for developing solutions that meet high demands on quality, function and manufacturability.

You will be an important part of a development team and contribute to implementing high-quality solutions used in advanced applications in the automotive industry and other technology-intensive industries.

The work involves close cooperation with both colleagues and customers. You are active in the technical dialog, drive your own design work and contribute to the development of both the team and the final product.

Qualifications

We believe that you have a College/University degree or equivalent of three years or longer and have at least 2 years of experience in the design of injection molded plastic items. Furthermore, we see that you also fulfill the points below:

• Experience from the automotive industry
• Good ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new technical challenges and project environments
• Experience working consultatively in close collaboration with both colleagues and customers

• Experience with Catia V5
• Experience with Teamcenter

For this position, it is a requirement that you master both Swedish and English in speech and writing, as our assignments often include contact with Swedish customers. Some assignments may also be security classified, which means that you need to hold a citizenship from a nation affiliated with NATO.
