Job description
We are now looking for calculation engineers within structural analysis for our office in Gothenburg! If you are interested in calculation tasks with a focus on pressure vessels, pipes, steel structures and the like and want to be part of a good team with high competence, this position should suit you.
In Gothenburg, we are about 90 employees divided between different specialties, backgrounds and experience levels, but with the common denominator that we share your passion for technical calculations using e.g. FEM or CFD. We are divided into five sections, each with its own focus and specialization, which means that we cover many different industries / sectors and at the same time can work closely together. With us, there is every opportunity to gain experience in several different industries and learn to handle several different calculation software.
As a calculation engineer with us, you will work with advanced technical calculations, with a focus on structural analysis. The assignments may vary in both size and content and be carried out either in-house in our own premises or on site at our customers.
Qualifications
We are now looking for you with a solid education in structural analysis. We believe that you have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Physics or Civil Engineering, where you have focused on strength analysis. We are interested in candidates with experience as well as new graduates.
You have good theoretical knowledge in structural analysis. If you have knowledge of any commercial software (e.g. Ansa, Ansys, Abaqus, Nastran or Adams), it is meritorious, and it is highly meritorious if you have knowledge of pipe / pressure vessel software (e.g. PV Elite, VVD, ROHR2, Caepipe or Pipestress). You must have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both in speech and in writing.
As a person, you are thorough, ambitious and inquisitive. You have an eye for detail and an ability to explain complex technical terms to people around you. You enjoy meeting people and have the ability to adapt in new and changing environments. You are independent, decisive, used to taking your own initiative and are good at communicating and documenting.
As we are working to help our customers who are located in the local area, as well as across the country, and sometimes even globally, you are flexible with travel during the day as well as weekly if the assignment requires.
