Job description

Are you a designer and component owner who is starting to feel that you want more than "just" designing? With us, you will have the opportunity to continue to develop technically - but also take steps towards a role where you can coach others and take more responsibility in the team.

Our business in heavy vehicles wants to continue to develop, and we are now looking for you who thrive in a role where you can combine your technical experience with supporting and coaching a team. You have a willingness to support, inspire and contribute to the development of the team. In this role, you will have a key position in projects related to both interior and exterior product development in the automotive industry - where you are part of the daily work and at the same time have a central role in bringing the technical dialog forward with both the customer and the project team.

You will work in assignments where you both take technical responsibility yourself and coach colleagues - in their technical work and deliveries. You act as a technical sounding board in the team, while at the same time having contact with the customer in the role of assignment leader or project support.

We believe that you have a great advantage if you are confident in your role as a designer and component owner and have a growing interest in leadership, people and collaboration.

You will also relieve one of our more senior employees in the daily work, and thus get a natural path into a broader responsibility - both internally in the team and externally towards the customer.

Qualifications

We believe that you have a civil engineering degree or equivalent, along with a few years of experience as a designer in heavy vehicles, preferably with a focus on interior and/or exterior, which is a requirement for the role.

You have worked in Catia V5 and are used to using tools such as KOLA, PDM-link and Team Center. It is important that you have a desire to develop towards a role where you can lead technically and coach your colleagues. Furthermore, you have the ability to take the dialog with the customer and act as project support in our in-house teams.

Experience of working agile and with tools such as JIRA is meritorious, as well as knowledge of injection molding in interior and exterior as well as lamps and lighting. If you also have experience from Living, we see it as an extra plus. The role requires you to be fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and have a valid B-driving license.

It is meritorious if you have previously worked as an ETL or Lead Engineer, or in a similar role, but at least as important is that you have the right attitude and a genuine interest in product development and collaboration to achieve set goals together. You are characterized by curiosity and drive and want to take greater responsibility in the delivery by coaching and supporting your colleagues.
