For one of AFRY's sections in Jönköping, we are now looking for a driven and committed Group Manager with a focus on product development. We work with software in embedded systems, electronics development, system software and mechanics development.

You will have the opportunity to take on a challenging, varied and exciting role where you get to combine your interests in sales and staff in a growing technology domain. We are ready to grow for the future, that's why we need you! As a Group Manager, you have a strong focus on customer relations and are responsible for sales in your area and are the one who sees new opportunities for both AFRY and our customers. In the role, you also have personnel responsibility for a group of employees, both specialists and younger talents, where you actively work with skills development, recruitment and the well-being of the group.

You will be given great freedom and responsibility to shape your role and way of working based on your own skills, strengths and interests and will be a key player in the section's continued development going forward.

In addition to your team leader role, you may also be involved in projects that run in parallel with your regular responsibilities.

You will be part of the management team within the Product Development West business unit and an important player in our team where you will work closely with your colleagues in Jönköping, Gothenburg and Linköping. We will support you in sales, recruitment and skills development activities and together we will lay the foundation for the team's continued success!

Qualifications

To succeed in the role, you need to have a great business interest and be genuinely interested in meeting customers and enjoy building and maintaining your business network. We will give you the opportunity to be part of AFRY's success journey. The role has a strong focus on growth where the combination of your contact network and your competence is our winning concept.

  • You have experience in sales of qualified consulting services as well as the competence and a strong desire to continue to develop customer relationships and the organization further.
  • You have documented experience of leadership in some form, perhaps you have a background as a group manager, team leader or project manager.

Basically, you have education from college, university or equivalent. It is an advantage if you have experience from one of the section's areas of activity in software, electronics or mechanics. As you have contact with many different customers in different industries, very good knowledge of Swedish and English is required. Since traveling is a natural part of the service, a B-driving license is a requirement.
