Job description

As an Electrical Power Engineer at AFRY, you will work with different types of projects and assignments, which will be governed by your competence, the customer's needs and your personal ambition and development plan. With us, you will have the opportunity to work with:

• Pre-studies and investigations
• Inquiry documents
• Short circuit calculations and selective plans
• Construction and commissioning
• Project management

There are also good opportunities to work in other electric power related areas such as relay testing, measurement and analysis of power quality and inspection.

The Electric Power section at AFRY in Gothenburg is today a group of 14 employees working in a specialist group in electric power. We run advanced electrical power projects for our external customers ranging from heavy petrochemical operations to vehicle development/manufacturing to complex hospital facilities. We also support the various divisions within AFRY with our specialist expertise in electrical power. This means that we are present throughout AFRY's customer base, which is incredibly exciting. We continue to see a great interest in our services and would like to develop these further - and we hope that you are one of those we are looking for!

Qualifications

You who apply have a genuine interest in technology and like to take on new assignments with both drive and commitment. You value an outgoing work where you get to build relationships and feel responsible for your tasks. 

To succeed well and thrive in your role as an electrical power engineer, we would like you to have:

• Post-secondary education in electrical power
• Have a driving license B as traveling at times can be a natural part of your role.
• Be fluent in Swedish and English in both speech and writing

It is meritorious if you also have work experience in electrical power.
