AFRY has a long and successful history in the energy industry, offering a wide range of services in energy generation, distribution and storage. We are over 170 consultants who have specialized expertise in all parts of the electricity network industry. Together, we help our customers throughout the energy transition by creating sustainable solutions for the energy system of the future.

The energy market is changing rapidly - with increased weather-dependent production, electrification of the transport sector, development of energy storage and a growing need for flexibility. To meet the increased demand for electricity network and electric power services, we are now looking for you who want to be part of driving the development forward in the role of electric power engineer with us.

We work with varied and exciting projects, where we support our customers throughout the project life cycle, mainly in projects within:  

• Energy storage
• Electric grid connections for wind and solar power
• Charging infrastructure

In the role of electric power engineer, you will work with:

• Investigations and feasibility studies
• Calculation and dimensioning
• Project planning
• Contract management within construction and grid connections
• Preparation of procurement documents and technical specifications

The position is based in our office in Malmö. Travel occurs as a natural part of the service.

Qualifications

Equally important for the role is that you enjoy creating and maintaining trusting customer relationships. You are responsive and solution-oriented to customer needs and are happy to take your own initiatives to drive the work forward in an efficient way.

Furthermore, we see that you have:

• A few years of work experience in electrical power, within the voltage range 10-130 kV  
• Technical university / college engineering education
• Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing as the language is used frequently at AFRY and our customers
• B-driving license as travel is a natural part of the service

We see it as a merit if you have:

• Experience working with regional networks
• Experience as a consultant

The assignments for this position may operate in security classified areas, which means that drug tests and security checks may be required.
