Job description

AFRY in Skövde and Laxå has in recent years delivered several successful projects in industry, automation and production. We are now continuing to grow and are looking for an electrical designer who wants to be involved in developing technically sustainable and smart solutions together with a committed team.

About the role

As an electrical designer at AFRY, you work through the entire project chain - from feasibility study and design to finished delivery. You will have great opportunity to influence both technical solutions and working methods, often in close dialog with the client and project team.

Example of work tasks:

• Electrical and automation design
• Preparation of electrical diagrams, layouts and technical documentation
• Dimensioning and calculations according to applicable standards
• Purchasing and ordering electrical materials for projects
• Managing article and spare parts lists
• Participating in - and sometimes leading - development projects

Qualifications

You are an electrical designer with a few years of experience, preferably from industrial projects. You enjoy taking responsibility, work in a structured way and have an eye for both quality and cost efficiency.

We believe that you:

• Have experience of electrical design in industry/automation
• Are confident in design standards and documentation
• Are driven, curious and enterprising
• Thrive in teams and communicate clearly with both colleagues and customers

You have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and B driving license. Travel in the service may occur.

Further information

The service is based at AFRY's office in Skövde or Laxå. The position may, in some cases, be subject to security classification and register checks.
