Job description
As an Electrical Designer you will be part of our team in Trollhättan. You work in technically advanced projects with elements of both new development and further development of existing products. The role involves collaboration with multiple disciplines and regular travel to our customers, mostly within Sweden.
You will have the opportunity to both support and lead technical development, depending on the phase and complexity of the project.
Your tasks
- Design of electrical systems and wiring harnesses for new and existing products
- Support the development of technical solutions based on given requirements, frameworks and regulations
- Support and in some cases lead the installation of components and the laying of cables and media in vehicles
- Work closely with projects, system development and other engineering functions
- Contribute to technical decisions, improvements and adjustments through the different phases of the project
We develop solutions in close collaboration with projects and other departments, giving you great insight and the opportunity to influence the whole.
Qualifications
Who are you?
- You are a committed engineer with strong technical curiosity and good attention to detail. You are analytical, structured and confident in taking responsibility within given frameworks - even when conditions change.
- Requirements:
- MSc or BSc in Mechatronics or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience as an electrical designer in automotive or other industry
- Ability to work both independently and in a team
- Fluent Swedish and English in speech and writing
- Additional:
- Experience from defense industry
- Knowledge in Saber (2D wiring design)
- Knowledge in E3
Safety
- Safety clearance required for the position
