Job description

Our department within Electricity & Automation at AFRY, is today a group of 25 colleagues located in Jönköping. We work with everything from electrical design, programming, risk assessments in machine safety, project management and electrical inspections. With us, you are part of a team that enjoys working together. With our broad and deep expertise, we have the opportunity to help both our customers and each other succeed and develop. We are part of Pulp & Paper Sweden. 

As an electrical designer with us, you will work with electrical design assignments with an emphasis on manufacturing industry and local customers.  

The role will involve electrical design and associated documentation and follow-up in close collaboration with colleagues and customers. In some assignments, safety-classified assignments may occur, now or in the future. 

The group consists of knowledgeable and committed colleagues where experience and knowledge sharing is a strong part of the culture. You will also be supported by three senior engineers on a daily basis.  

We work primarily in project form and collaborate with colleagues in other geographies and technical areas. AFRY consists of a fantastic world of engineering expertise in a variety of areas. By weaving these together, we can offer the market something unique. This gives you the opportunity to take part in AFRY's broad knowledge, not least important for your own skills development - in the long term with further specialization in electrical engineering.  

Qualifications

To succeed in this role we believe that you are motivated by working working in a challenging and dynamic work environment and being solution-oriented and forward-thinking in what you take on. Having said that, we know that together we need to create the right conditions for this;which is why we also value your collaboration and communication skills as well as your initiative. 

To fit into the role with us we believe that you have: 

• At least 2 years of experience as an electrical designer and good social skills. 
• Knowledge of electrical design   
• System experience: good computer skills and industrial experience   
• Relevant education from university, vocational college or equivalent experience.  
• Language skills: Swedish at mother tongue level and good English in speech and writing; German is meritorious.  

It s meritorious if you have: 

• In-depth knowledge in electrical engineering. 
• Education in automation or similar.
