Job Description

We’re looking for an electrical design engineer to join our electrical engineering team in Uppsala. The team consists of bold and dedicated colleagues from diverse backgrounds who are committed to what they believe in. You will work on the design of electrical and telecommunications installations across various types of projects and assignments. The projects and your level of responsibility will be determined by your expertise, the client’s needs, and your personal ambitions and development plan. In addition to design, some of us also work with inspections and testing of electrical and telecommunications systems.

You’ll be part of Places Sweden, a business unit within AFRY that creates sustainable, safe, and innovative solutions for public and commercial environments. We work on everything from hospitals and high-security facilities to infrastructure and defense projects. Our strength lies in combining cutting-edge technical expertise with project management and consulting to deliver greater customer value.

Qualifications

To succeed and thrive in your role as an electrical engineer, we expect you to have:

• Theoretical education in electrical engineering at the high school, post-secondary, or college level
• Practical experience with electrical installations and experience working as an electrical design engineer
• Experience with AutoCAD, MagiCAD, and BIM/Revit
• A Class B driver’s license, as travel may be a regular part of your role
• Excellent proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
