Job Description

AFRY Industry is now looking for more talented employees in Örnsköldsvik—Join our team!

To strengthen our continued focus on the north, we need to expand our operations with more electrical engineers.You will primarily work on projects and assignments within the defense and engineering industries. Your day-to-day work and future with us will be shaped by your expertise, the client’s needs, as well as your personal ambition, development plan, and drive.

As a product development electrical engineer with us, you will work on various stages of the development process across a broad technical field, where your task will be to design electrical systems in an innovative and professional manner.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Selecting components and establishing development specifications.
• Developing schematic designs and manufacturing documentation for cabling.
• Analyzing existing components and subsystems on the market.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, we look for:

• You have a college degree in electrical engineering, automation, or electronic systems, or equivalent professional experience.
• You have experience in electrical design and/or product development. You are confident in selecting electrical components and can produce electrical schematics
• You have a good command of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and hold a driver’s license (Class B)
• You have experience with software such as, E3-series, Eplan, and Elprocad.

As a person, you are:

• A curious problem-solver who enjoys new challenges.
• Organized and methodical, with strong teamwork skills.

It is a plus if you have:

• Work experience in the automotive industry or an interest in engines and vehicles.

This position requires placement in a security clearance category. A security screening, including a background check and drug test, will be conducted prior to assignment. Swedish citizenship is also a requirement for this position.
