Are you experienced in managing electrical installations in industrial projects and ready for a new challenge? Find out more about us and the role of Electrical Installation Manager.

We are a dedicated team that helps our customers adapt to a sustainable future and new demands. Our projects vary from 'Greenfield' to 'Brownfield'. We work closely together, cross-functionally as well as in our own projects and consulting assignments. You will work primarily with colleagues who are project managers, process engineers and electrical and automation engineers. Our customers appreciate our expertise and entrust us with interesting assignments.

ROLE WITH US

The projects we work on in our team can, for example, be about building a new or changed process in the food industry (eg in dairy, bakery or beverage), but it can also be about feasibility studies and smaller efforts.

As Electrical Installation Manager Food with us, you will mainly:

  • Lead the electrical design, and when we come to the installation phase, lead electrical installations together with subcontractors in AFRY's projects in the food industry
  • Review team colleagues' work, drawings and installations
  • Be the electrical installation manager, and then delegate further in the projects
  • Act as an installer for compliance
  • Participate in quotation and calculation work
  • Participate in method development work, e.g. by participating in the division's development group in the electrical discipline
  • Keep up to date with current regulations and standards

We have a well-defined quality system and project methodology, which enables us to offer our customers a complete application solution, including testing, commissioning, quality assurance and documentation. We work according to standards and guidelines such as; ISA S88, ISA S95 and GAMP.

The role is based at AFRY's office in Malmö and many of our projects take place in southern Sweden. Travel within and sometimes outside Sweden is also possible.

Qualifications

To thrive in the role, you need to be driven, used to leading others and able to project work. You have good communication and collaboration skills. We believe that you work in a structured way and enjoy working with several parallel projects and tasks. You are analytical, want to work with problem solving and have the ability to take into account the whole, both the customer benefit and our delivery. You have an entrepreneurial side, welcome change and adapt easily to new environments.

To thrive and succeed in the role, we believe that:

  • You have at least 10 years of electrical experience in industrial installations and projects. Your skills and experience of leading others in construction and installation will be important in the role.
  • You have experience from the food industry or other process industry.
  • You may preferably have experience of both the production stage (such as customer or manager) and the process supplier stage.
  • You have a low voltage (AL) qualification and experience of working as an electrician.
  • Your knowledge of English and one of the Scandinavian languages is very good, both in speech and writing.
  • You have a B driving license, as shorter and longer trips may occasionally be part of the work.

Experience of working as an electrical designer is a plus. If you have knowledge and experience of eplan, this is also an advantage.

Last but not least, you value team work highly, just like us!
