AFRY has a solid history in the energy industry and in the Energy Division we focus on offering our clients all services within the production and distribution of energy. In Sweden, we are about 600 dedicated employees in the energy field and we aim to become even more. Our Transmission & Distribution business unit has a vision to create electricity network solutions for a sustainable future and is today about 180 consultants with high specialist expertise in all parts of the electricity network industry. We work closely together in teams and place great emphasis on knowledge sharing, collaboration and continuous learning.

In the role of electrical power designer, we offer you exciting and developing tasks in a very knowledgeable and nice team. Together, we have a broad and deep competence in electrical power that gives us the opportunity to help both our customers and each other to succeed and develop. We experience a great need for our services and have many interesting projects in progress.

In the first instance, we are looking for you who want to work with construction in electrical power at regional network level, which is the main focus of the role. Depending on your background, experience and interest, there are also good opportunities to broaden the tasks towards adjacent areas, such as investigation, design, testing / commissioning and inspection, during parts of the time.

We are looking for several new employees with relevant experience in electrical power, as we expand our unit and continue to develop our business.

The location can be flexible with the right skills, but it is easier if you are close to one of our offices in Malmö, Lund, Halmstad, Helsingborg or Hässleholm - please indicate in your application which location suits you best. What knowledge and experience do you need?

Requirements:

• Several years of experience in the industry from the design and construction of substations, switchgear and associated control systems, within regional networks
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, in speech and writing, as the role involves working with technical documentation, safety-critical documents and frequent communication with colleagues and customers in Swedish.
• Good knowledge of English is required, mainly in the form of reading comprehension, as technical documentation, standards and documentation are often in English.
• B-driving license 

Advantageous:

• Experience in the consulting industry 
• Experience in contracting
