Within the Product Development unit, you’ll work on developing high-tech and intelligent products for the sustainable world of the future. These products span all the industries we currently work with at AFRY Connected Products:

• Defense
• Medical Technology
• Industrial Technology
• Telecom
• Consumer Products
• Automotive

Your workplace could be either at a client site or at our office in Solna. With us, you’ll have the opportunity to try your hand at a variety of assignments and industries without having to change employers!

Qualifications

For this role, we’re looking for someone with experience in one or more of these areas:  - Electronic design - PCB layout - Embedded design - ASIC / FPGA design

In addition to a college degree, we expect you to have strong written and spoken English skills. Proficiency in Swedish is a plus. We require that you reside in Sweden.

Depending on your prior experience, we expect you to be proficient in one or more of the following: - Digital design, though analog design and RF are also of interest, preferably using tools such as Altium Designer and Cadence Allegro - IP design and verification. - Signal and power integrity, simulations, EMC, and preferably tools such as ADS, SIvave, HFSS, and Hyperlynx. - Low-level hardware programming. - Requirements management or system engineering. - Wireless communication, high-speed links, or similar. - Troubleshooting, board bring-up, and lab work.

Of course, we also place great importance on your personal qualities. As a consultant, it’s important that you work independently and are used to taking the initiative. Since many assignments involve collaboration with both clients and colleagues, you should also have good interpersonal skills and enjoy working in a team.
