Job Description

Our business area Product & Software Engineeringis currently growing, and we are looking for someone who is passionate about electronics development and has experience in hardware design. We work in cross-functional development teams where continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing are a natural part of everyday life.

In the role of Electronics Developer you will design and develop high-quality electronics that meet our customers’ needs. As a full-time employee at AFRY, you will have the opportunity to work either within our internal project delivery organization or directly at our clients’ sites. Our clients are found in many different industries—from MedTech (R&D), telecommunications, the aerospace industry, and machinery and equipment manufacturing to defense, the automotive industry, and consumer products.

At AFRY, you’ll become part of a global network of over 700 embedded consultants, while maintaining close contact with your manager and colleagues at our office in Västerås.

Qualifications

Requirements for the role:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

• At least 5 years of experience in hardware design

• Analog design

• Digital design

• PCB CAD

Desirable:

• MATLAB/Simulink

• FPGA/VHDL

• Interest in hands-on lab work with equipment
