Company Description

AFRY is a European leader in engineering, design and consulting, with global reach. We accelerate the transition towards a sustainable society. With 19,000 experts in infrastructure, industry, energy and digitalization, we create sustainable solutions for future generations.

Job description

Do you want to design electronics that have to work when it really counts?

As an electronics developer in the defense industry, you will work closely with the technology in some of Sweden's most advanced systems - everything from aerial platforms and marine systems to ground-based solutions and sensor technology. You will design electronics that are robust, durable and reliable in extreme environments and where quality and safety are never compromised.

At AFRY, you can work through all or part of the development chain - from concept and requirements analysis to schematic design, PCB layout, component selection and work with signal and power integrity. Depending on the project, you may also immerse yourself in simulations, environmental and EMC testing or advanced troubleshooting in the lab. Some assignments also include production engineering work with a focus on electronics, such as industrialization, manufacturing adaptation or test strategies. Regardless of the assignment, you work closely with firmware, system and test engineers in cross-functional teams where you together create the whole

You can work both at our customers in Stockholm or from our in-house team in Solna, and you will have the opportunity to develop towards the technical areas you want to immerse yourself in.
