Job description

Right now, our business area  Product & Software Engineering is growing, and we are looking for you who are passionate about electronics development and have experience in hardware design. We work in cross-functional development teams where continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing are a natural part of everyday life.

In the role of Electronics Developer, you will design and develop high-quality electronics that meet our customers' needs. As a full-time employee at AFRY, you will have the opportunity to work either in our internal project delivery organization or directly with our clients. Our clients are in many different industries - from MedTech (R&D), Telecom, Aerospace and Machinery & Equipment Manufacturing to Defense, Automotive and Consumer Products.

At AFRY you will be part of a global network of over 700 embedded consultants, while having close contact with your manager and colleagues at our office in Västerås.

As a consultant at AFRY, you will work either in our own projects or on client sites. To thrive in the role, you need to be a team player who is communicative and likes collaboration. Qualifications

Requirements for the role:

• Civil or University Engineer in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or similar field

• At least 5 years of experience in hardware design

• Analog design

• Digital design

• PCB CAD

Advantageous:

• MATLAB/Simulink

• FPGA/VHDL

• Interest in practical lab work with equipment
