Job Description
Our business area Product & Software Engineeringis currently growing, and we are looking for someone with a strong interest in programming and experience in embedded systems development. We work in cross-functional development teams where continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing are an integral part of our daily work.
In the role of Embedded Developer you will develop high-quality software that meets our customers’ needs. As a full-time employee at AFRY, you will have the opportunity to work either within our internal project delivery organization or directly at one of our clients’ sites. Our clients operate in a wide range of industries—from MedTech (R&D), telecommunications, and the aerospace industry to machinery and equipment manufacturing, defense, the automotive industry, and consumer products.

Qualifications
As a consultant at AFRY, you will work either on our own projects or on-site at a client’s location. To thrive in this role, you need to be a team player who is communicative and enjoys collaborating. Requirements for the role:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar
Very good understanding and experience with embedded systems (at least 5 years)
Experience in software development for embedded systems/driver development
Experience with real-time operating systems for embedded systems
Knowledge of embedded CPU architecture
Programming in C/C++/C#
Python
Good knowledge of Swedish and English
Desirable:
MATLAB/Simulink
FPGA/VHDL
Interest in hands-on lab work with equipment
