Job description
Right now, our business area is growing Product & Software Engineering, and we are looking for you who have a strong interest in programming and experience in developing embedded systems. We work in cross-functional development teams where continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing are a natural part of everyday life.
In the role of Embedded Developer, you develop high-quality software that meets our customers' needs. As a full-time employee at AFRY, you will have the opportunity to either work in our internal project delivery organization or directly with one of our clients. Our customers are found in several different industries - everything from MedTech (R&D), telecom and aerospace to machine and equipment manufacturing, defense, automotive and consumer products.

Qualifications
As a consultant at AFRY, you will work either in our own projects or on client sites. To thrive in the role, you need to be a team player who is communicative and likes to collaborate. Requirements for the role:
Civil or university degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or similar
Very good understanding and experience of embedded systems (at least 5 years)
Experience in embedded software development/driver development
Experience in real-time embedded operating systems
Knowledge in embedded CPU architecture
Programming in C/C++/C#
Python
Good knowledge of Swedish and English
Advantageous:
MATLAB/Simulink
FPGA/VHDL
Interest in practical lab work with equipment
