Job description
Do you want to be part of developing the technical solutions of the future together with incredibly competent colleagues? At AFRY, you will work closely with the customer on software development at the absolute forefront of technology - in projects characterized by high complexity, innovation and qualified problem solving.
We are looking for you who want to work with hardware-related programming in C/C++, but who also have an interest in model-based development with MATLAB/Simulink. You will be part of a competent team where we learn from each other and together create solutions for control systems in, for example, the automotive or defense industry.
As a software developer with us, you will:
- Develop software for embedded systems in close collaboration with the customer.
- Work with both traditional programming (C/C++, Python) and model-based development (MATLAB/Simulink).
- Contribute to the structure, working methods and technical direction of the team.
- Participate in projects that require high technical understanding and accuracy, often in safety-critical environments.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have:
- Civil or university engineering degree in relevant field (e.g. computer engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics).
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in software development and Swedish B-driving license.
Good to very good knowledge of:
- C and/or C++
- MATLAB/Simulink
- Python
- Autosar
- GIT and Azure DevOps or other similar systems
It is also positive if you have experience with ISO 26262 and ISO 21434 as well as other system standards in the automotive industry. If you also have experience with Targetlink, it is an advantage. We also believe that you have previous experience in the automotive or defense industry and knowledge of model-based development and embedded real-time systems.
As the role involves both internal and external contacts, good communication skills in Swedish and English are crucial.Some assignments may also be security classified, which means that you need to hold a citizenship from a nation affiliated with NATO.
