Company Description

AFRY is a European leader in engineering, design and consulting, with global reach. We accelerate the transition towards a sustainable society. With 19,000 experts in infrastructure, industry, energy and digitalization, we create sustainable solutions for future generations.

Job description

Develop software for some of Sweden's most critical technical systems

Working with embedded software in the defense industry is something very special. Here you develop systems used in advanced platforms such as aircraft, ships, vehicles and sensor systems - technology that must work in all situations, even when the outside world is most demanding. At AFRY, you will have the opportunity to take on deep technical challenges while contributing to Sweden's security and societal resilience in a real way.

As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will participate in the entire development chain, from requirements and architecture to implementation, integration, testing and verification. You work in teams with electronics, systems and test engineers, and much of the work is done close to the hardware. You will build systems with long lifecycles, high stability requirements and scrutinized safety standards - a job where quality and care are as important as creativity and problem solving.

You may work both at a customer site in Stockholm or in-house at our modern premises in Solna, depending on the project and your preferences.

- Debugging with oscilloscope, JTAG, logic analyzer
