Job Description

We at AFRY Automotive in Trollhättan are looking for developers with an interest in electronic control systems, embedded software, dynamic simulation, and integration—is this you? Then here’s your opportunity!

We’re looking for someone who is a team player and has a background in systems development. In your role with our client, you will develop, design, test, and document embedded software for control systems. There is also a need to perform supporting tasks in the following areas: 

  • Product Development: Development of software and functionality for control systems.

  • Product Support: Tracking trends and identifying improvements, troubleshooting and problem-solving, investigating incidents with a focus on the control system.

    • Demonstrator/technology development in the field of control system technology.

  • Work with SIL / MIL / HIL for fault investigation and system development.

You are expected to, like the rest of the team, contribute to a positive work environment by being helpful, sharing knowledge and experiences, and being open and proactive toward continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• A BSc, MSc, or equivalent engineering degree in mechatronics, engineering physics, or another relevant     &#engineering degree.

  • You are fluent in Swedish and English (spoken and written).

  • Excellent ability to collaborate and network.

  • Experience and knowledge of agile methods are a plus.

  • Interest in and experience with programming languages such as C++ and Python are a plus.

  • As a person, you have a genuine interest in systems development and can combine practical and theoretical knowledge.

• You have the ability to understand how hardware is used in practice in relation to design, failure modes, design intent, etc.

• You are comfortable taking on a high degree of individual responsibility as well as being part of a team.

The position requires that you undergo and be approved in accordance with the security clearance regulations in effect at the time. For positions where the client requires a security clearance, this may, where applicable, entail requirements for a specific citizenship and an approved background check.
