Job description
Regulatory requirements for real estate will be tightened significantly in the coming years. EPBD, MEPS and stricter energy declaration requirements create a growing and long-term need for qualified energy advice - and we are growing with that need. Therefore, we are now looking for two dedicated energy consultants to join our team in Stockholm.
The Energy Efficiency East section within Region East currently consists of about ten employees with combined experience from hospitals, public properties, commercial stocks and industry. We work with energy efficiency of existing buildings and facilities and offer a wide range of services - from energy surveys and energy declarations to full-scale EPC projects (Energy Performance Contracting) with verification of actual outcome.
In the role of energy consultant with us, you carry out and lead assignments with your own responsibility for execution, customer contact and finance. You work with technical breadth and precision - identify improvement opportunities, develop action packages with LCC calculations and follow the projects from early analysis to delivery and follow-up. Building customer relationships and contributing to business development is a natural part of the role.
We value an open collaborative climate where experiences are shared and colleagues support each other. As part of a large consulting company, you have access to specialists in all technical disciplines - what the assignment requires, we can solve together.
Qualifications
We see that you probably have a university or civil engineering degree in energy technology, mechanical engineering, plumbing or electrical engineering, or you have acquired equivalent knowledge through experience. You have at least two to five years of work experience related to energy efficiency of buildings and are familiar with the technical and regulatory issues that are central to the business.
As a person, you are structured and work methodically with good quality and taking into account time frames. You enjoy taking responsibility for your own assignments and appreciate working closely with colleagues and sharing your knowledge. You are motivated by building customer relationships and seeing concrete results of your work.
Certified Energy Chartered Accountant (EKL) is an advantage - but not a requirement. We will support you to get certified if you are not already. Experience in EPC, LCC analysis, energy simulation (IDA ICE, VIP Energy), solar power or technical due diligence is an advantage. It is a requirement that you master Swedish in speech and writing. B-driving license is required as field assignments are included in the role. In this recruitment, we place great emphasis on personal suitability.
