Do you want to work with advanced engineering tools and help drive the digitalization of industry? AFRY is now strengthening its team and is looking for an Engineering Tools Specialist - COMOS for our industrial and civil engineering projects.

About the role

In the role of Engineering Tools Specialist - COMOS at AFRY, you will work with Siemens COMOS, an engineering and information management tool for structured management of technical plant data throughout the entire life cycle, from design and project planning to operation and maintenance. COMOS is used as a central platform in industries such as process industry, energy, chemistry, pharma, oil & gas and manufacturing and often serves as the hub of an integrated system landscape. The role has a clear development focus and involves the implementation, configuration and further development of COMOS, including data models, system integrations and information flows, acting as a technical expert and super user, supporting project teams and customers throughout the plant lifecycle.

You will:

• Work with COMOS modeling, database structure and object management
• Participate in and drive COMOS implementations in projects
• Further develop COMOS through configuration, customizations and technical solutions
• Work with system integrations to other tools and systems (E3D, EPLAN, PCS7/PAA etc.)
• Support disciplines such as process, electrical, instrumentation and automation

Qualifications

We are looking for you who

• Have several years of experience working with COMOS (Siemens)
• Have a background in the process industry, energy, pharma, chemistry or similar
• Understands engineering data and its use throughout the plant life cycle
• Has a strong technical interest and thrives in a development-oriented role
• Has programming skills in C++, C#, .NET
• Experience with system integrations and working with XML files
• Good knowledge of SQL and database management
• Structured, solution-oriented and communicative
• Speaks and writes Swedish and English fluently
