AFRY is looking for committed environmental consultants who want to help shape a sustainable future and contribute to the green transition. Here you are offered career opportunities in a modern workplace with challenging assignments, exciting projects and the opportunity for continuous skills development. We are currently looking for our new colleague in natural environment, contaminated areas, EIA / permits, cultural environment, hydrogeology, hydrology or sustainability, located either in Ludvika or Östersund. We are looking for both senior, middle and junior colleagues and attach great importance to the fact that you as a person will contribute and complement our team.
Our business area Environment and Sustainability operates throughout Sweden, with customers in both the private, municipal and government sectors. We work with, among other things, closed and active mines, power line projects, community building, landfill operations, roads and railways, fossil-free steel, solar power and onshore and offshore wind power. Our environmental expertise also supports other business areas in industry, energy and infrastructure within AFRY.
As an environmental consultant, your tasks vary and you get to participate in projects, both locally and nationally. The assignments range from field work and inventories, community development, environmental soil surveys, remediation investigations, remediation, environmental controls, risk assessments, and handling of notification and permit cases. You can work in contaminated land, ecology/natural value inventories, environmental impact assessments, consultations and permit cases as well as holistically in sustainability.
In the role, you are given great responsibility and you get to participate in the entire process - from planning to execution and you always work in teams with your colleagues both locally and nationally.
