AFRY is seeking dedicated environmental consultants who want to help shape a sustainable future and contribute to the green transition. We offer career opportunities in a modern workplace with challenging assignments, exciting projects, and opportunities for continuous professional development.
We are currently looking for a new colleague in the field of permit review and environmental assessments, based in Skellefteå, Luleå, or Boden. We are primarily looking for mid-level or senior professionals who want to contribute their expertise, experience, and personality to our team.
Our Environment and Sustainability business area operates throughout Sweden and works with clients in the private, municipal, and government sectors. Our projects include, among other things, closed and active mines, power line projects, civil engineering, landfill operations, roads and railways, fossil-free steel, solar power, and onshore and offshore wind power. We also support AFRY’s other business areas in industry, energy, and infrastructure with our broad environmental expertise.
As an environmental consultant, you will work on a variety of projects at both the local and national levels. Your responsibilities may include environmental assessments, environmental studies, permit applications, strategic environmental planning, consultation processes, sustainability issues, and advising on environmental legislation and the Environmental Code.

We’re looking for someone who thrives on varied assignments and grows professionally within a broad spectrum of environmental issues. At AFRY, you’ll help develop innovative and sustainable solutions, while also having the opportunity to build your expertise and collaborate with AFRY’s extensive network of specialists.
We hope you’ll learn just as much from us as we do from you!
