Would you like to work with architecture on every scale—from society’s most complex projects to the details that make a difference for the people who use the space?
We’re looking for an experienced architect who wants to help shape the environments of the future alongside us at AFRY Architects in Stockholm.
With us, you’ll have the opportunity to work on projects where vision, technology, sustainability, and design come together. We work on large-scale development projects, complex buildings, and thoughtfully designed interior environments where every detail matters. That’s why we’re looking for someone who is equally comfortable with strategic thinking and hands-on architectural work.
About the Role
As an architect with us, you’ll play a central role in our projects. You’ll drive design initiatives, develop concepts, and contribute throughout the entire process—from the early stages to the finished environment.
You’ll work closely with clients, colleagues, and other disciplines within AFRY. We believe in the power of interdisciplinary collaboration and that the best solutions emerge when different perspectives come together.

At AFRY Architects in Stockholm, we’re looking for an experienced architect who wants to develop architecture with a high level of ambition, together with colleagues from multiple disciplines and with sustainability as a natural starting point.

Qualifications
- You are a trained architect with at least 8 years of experience in the industry.
- You have worked on projects of varying scale and complexity.
- You have experience with financial responsibility and leading other architects on projects.
- You have strong design skills and a genuine interest in the impact of architecture on people and society.
- You can switch between strategic issues and detailed design with the same level of commitment.
- You thrive in dialogue with clients, project owners, and project teams, and maintain your own client relationships
- You are curious, collaborative, business-minded, and eager to contribute to the development of both projects and the firm.
