Job description

We help our customers with advanced technical solutions at the same time as we are entering a transition in industry towards a greener future and more digitized world. We work primarily in project form and collaborate with colleagues in other geographies and technical areas. AFRY consists of a fantastic world of engineering expertise in a variety of areas. As an automation engineer with a focus on delivery projects, you are involved in the entire chain - from feasibility studies and requirements definition to programming, testing, commissioning and after-sales. You will work with PLC, HMI and SCADA systems, and actively contribute to system design, functional descriptions and technical documentation. The role involves both independent work and close collaboration with colleagues and customers.

We collaborate a lot with colleagues so the natural starting point is at the office in Malmö, at the same time there is flexibility to work remotely if needed. Shorter trips and work at our customers with troubleshooting and smaller projects are also part of the service.

Qualifications

As a person, you are enterprising, open and responsible. We value a good business approach highly as our contact surfaces, both internally and externally, are based on cooperation and good relationships. You are sensitive to the needs of others and are happy to share your knowledge to support and guide younger colleagues.

In addition to these personal qualities, we are looking for you who have:

• Civil engineer or university engineer in automation or equivalent work experience.
• Several years of experience with PLC, HMI and SCADA systems.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both in speech and writing.
• Driving license (B) as travel is a natural part of the work.

The assignments for this position will mainly be in security classified roles and are covered by defense secrecy. Swedish citizenship and an approved security clearance may be a requirement for employment.
