AFRY has for many years successfully supported both Swedish and international energy producers, and we are now investing in further expansion in this exciting and expansive market!

Nuclear Nordics focuses on nuclear power where assignments in reactor safety, safety analyses and technical investigations as well as project management are our everyday life. We have a unique position of trust in our market, and often work in very close collaboration with our customers who are now planning for both new construction and lifetime extension!

We are now looking for an electrical engineer for consulting assignments in the nuclear power industry mainly in Sweden but also with international opportunities. Locations are Gothenburg or Varberg.

As an electrical designer with us, you will work with everything from feasibility studies, investigations, new projects, conversions, extensions and inspections. The projects vary both in size and content. They are run either on site at our customers or "in-house" in our own premises. We offer a stimulating job with challenging assignments in a great team!

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a civil or university engineer or equivalent in electricity and automation and have at least 3 years of qualified professional experience in electrical design in industry. Furthermore, you have experience of CAD design and preferably of Elmaster or Eplan.

To succeed in the role, you are comfortable with being responsible for both detail and system design. If you have previous experience from the nuclear power industry with a focus on plant and system knowledge, it is meritorious.

The position requires you to have a driving license B and be flexible as travel is a natural part of your role. As you have a lot of contact with both customers and colleagues, you need to be able to express yourself well in both Swedish and English in speech and writing.

As the position operates in security-classified areas, you will undergo drug tests and security checks before employment can begin.
