Job description
In our specialist group in electric power at Electric Power, we work from idea to finished plant in industry. We work closely together, learn from each other and have fun along the way.
We run advanced electric power projects for clients in petrochemicals, automotive development and healthcare, among others, while supporting AFRY's divisions with our specialist expertise. This means that we are present throughout AFRY's client base - something that makes the job both varied and exciting.
As an electrical power engineer, you will have a central role in our projects, both at the client and in-house. You will, among other things, work with:
Inquiry documents for low and medium voltage substations
Investigations and feasibility studies
Technical advice
Network calculations and selective plans
There is also the opportunity to take on the role of assignment manager with customer and budget responsibility, as well as to broaden your knowledge in areas such as relay testing, power quality and inspection.
Qualifications
We believe that you are a committed, curious and technically minded person who likes to drive projects from idea to goal. You like to collaborate with others, build relationships and take responsibility in your work. Structure and order are important to you, while you want to develop yourself and contribute to the development of both colleagues and customers.
We are looking for you who have:
Post-secondary education in electrical power or equivalent experience.
Several years of experience in electrical power, preferably as a designer or project manager.
Knowledge of construction law and AMA.
Experience of AutoCAD and report writing.
B driving license
Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both in speech and writing.
Experience with Febdok or other network calculation programs, as well as practical background as a service or industrial electrician, is an advantage.
The position may require you to be able to work in our security classified projects. This means that a security clearance is conducted according to Swedish legislation on security protection. To fulfill the requirements, you need to hold a citizenship that complies with the provisions of the Security Protection Ordinance, and there must be no obstacles according to the criteria for security class
