AFRY is driving the development towards a more sustainable society, and in the field of sustainable buildings, we are now looking for you who want to help shape the properties of the future. We work broadly with energy, environmental and sustainability issues - from energy surveys and energy coordination to environmental certifications, climate calculations, recycling and strategic sustainability work.

We now want to strengthen our team in Gothenburg with an experienced energy coordinator.

Our team within Sustainable Building in Gothenburg currently consists of about 15 employees. We work with energy calculations, daylight and indoor climate simulations and a number of environmental certification systems such as Miljöbyggnad, Miljöbyggnad iDrift, BREEAM-SE and BREEAM In-Use. We coordinate and perform climate calculations throughout all stages of the building and contribute with expertise in both early stages and complex projects.

Your future role

• As an energy coordinator with us, you will:

• Release energy-related issues and ensure that calculations and investigations are carried out in technically advanced construction projects.
• Contribute at early stages with advice and analysis for energy efficiency and good indoor climate.
• Drive work in operational optimization, verification and measurement plans.
• Coordinate the project team and support clients and contractors on energy requirements and indoor climate.
• Evaluate system solutions and contribute to energy-efficient and sustainable concepts.
• Be an assignment leader and ensure customer satisfaction, quality and long-term relationships.
• You will be a key person in our projects - both internally and externally - and act as an advisor on energy and sustainability issues. The role involves collaboration across offices and technical areas, and sometimes also travel within Sweden and the Nordic region.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have:

• A minimum of five years of experience in energy coordination in construction and real estate projects.
• Good knowledge of energy optimization, energy strategies and energy-related issues in the construction process.
• Experience with IDA ICE or other building simulation tools.
• Experience as an energy strategist, energy manager or consultant in the field.
• Certifications such as Miljöbyggnad, Miljöbyggnad iDrift, BREEAM, LEED or as a certified energy expert are advantageous.
• Academic degree as a university or civil engineer, or equivalent experience.
• You have a good command of Swedish in speech and writing.

As a person, you are driven, committed and structured, with the ability to lead assignments and collaborate in teams. You communicate clearly, build relationships and are motivated by developing business.
