Job description

Our Industry division within AFRY is a major player in the process industry in Sweden with a large office in Karlstad - Hope you want to be part of our strong and positive team!

We are strengthening our team in Karlstad with experienced project engineers in layout/pipe (Plant design).

In this role, you are involved in our entire delivery regarding design and construction in layout and pipe design. Deliverables include developing technical solutions and functions, selecting components and materials, developing component and piping lists, developing equipment specifications, 3D modeling and developing manufacturing and installation documentation. It is a great advantage to be able to perform stress analyses on pipe systems in this role.

As an employee with us, you will either work on site at the customer's project organization, or be part of one of our In-house projects from our own office in Karlstad.

We are looking for you who have:

• A technical education from college or have many years of experience in layout/pipe design.
• We preferably see that you have five years of experience in projects and assignments from layout and pipe design mainly in the paper/pulp, process, energy, oil & gas and petrochemical industries.
• Experience with software such as Aveva E3D, Plant3D, PDMS, AutoCAD, Rohr2 or Autopipe is meritorious.

As a person, you are eager to learn, goal-oriented, structured, communicative, unpretentious and with a positive attitude.

In addition, you have very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and have a B driving license as travel to the customer occurs in the service.
